As a family that is always on the go, we are constantly looking for new and exciting ways to make travel easy and fun for our little guy. Nothing is more frustrating to my two year old than playing with his toys while safely strapped into his carseat and accidentally dropping something – unable to reach them. Not only can this be frustrating to a little boy trying to play, but as a mom I tend to be the “toy retrieval expert.”

The Snack and Play Travel Tray from StarKids is the perfect accessory for long (or short) car rides. This handy tray is soft and can be stored easily when it is not in use, but it is also sturdy enough to be a great tray to play on! Simply strapping the tray around your child or around the carseat, it stays in place well and creates a surface for fun and imagination. My son loves playing with his trucks while we travel, but he is constantly dropping them. With this tray, there is a ledge around the edge that prevents toys from falling off easily.

When a toy isn’t being used, the handy tray has pockets along the sides. My little guy is too little to know how to pull back the webbing just yet, but I am able to store all kinds of toys in there for him to reach into the pocket and pull out when he is wanting something different to play with.   2. We go to visit relatives in other states, we go to amusement parks, we go camping and to the beach.

  5. We like to go visit family and take a family vacation to a new place every year. So far we’ve been to the Outer Banks, NC, Cape Cod, MA and Cape May, NJ.

  9. Traveling to visit relatives and going to the park with my grandson is special. He is active, likes to run and is especially interested in trains. He has visited the Train Museum in Boston and still talks about the commuter train, Amtrak and Thomas the Train.

  15. we take lots of roadtrips to explore, camp, climb, adventure… we love exploring national parks and beyond.

    Our fav family road trips are to the gorgeous Oregon Coast either for the day or if we’re lucky for the weekend!

  36. We love to take weekend trips to my Mom’s house, about an hour away. She has a dog to play with and a pool to swim in! My kiddo’s love it!

  37. We love traveling to my parents, my daughter’s grand parents, because family is very important.
