Poe wovens logoI don’t even know where to begin…. I mean, I am speechless! How on earth do you describe something that makes your heart flip flop? Something that gets you so excited you can hardly focus on anything else? Something that brings you closer to your child?

Poe Wovens 3 logoThe excitement, elation and little happy dance that I did when I saw Poe Wovens arrive on my doorstep is hard to convey over the Internet, but I will do my best.

Poe Wovens is a woven wrap baby carrier. If you have not discovered the amazing-ness of the woven wrap, I would encourage you to try it! Any mommy that loves to wear her baby needs to at least TRY a woven wrap once.

I had the privilege to see the Harlequin Neige. This beautiful, neutral wrap is flawless. Out of the bag it felt pretty stiff, but it began to break in immediately. The 100% cotton makes this wrap moldable, squishable and very supportive. I do not know how it is possible to make cotton this “shimmery,” but this wrap fairly glows it is so silky.  Weighing in around 280g/m2, this wrap is a little thicker, so it has great cush in the shoulder!

My “little” guy is not so little any more, so I absolutely LOVE the fact that this wrap is extra wide compared to other wraps I have used. Because of the width, I am able to get a nice deep seat that is hard for him to “pop” out of. The fabric glides easily while I am making my passes, yet seems to be pretty grippy once in place.

Harlequin Neige1Lets talk about color and weave for a moment. The color of Harlequin Neige is like fresh churned butter. It is so soft and pale, but not exactly yellow. It is elegant and neutral for any occasion you might wear it at. Also, this wrap is densely woven which means it is less prone to snags, pulls and broken threads. I have had absolutely NO issues with this wrap!

So what is my favorite thing about Poe Wovens? They are made right here in the US! Based in Vermont, these Poe Wovens are manufactured in North Carolina and lovingly packaged in Vermont (I even got a couple pieces of maple candy in my package!).
