three quick springtime skin care tips

Despite the fact that I started my day in a winter coat, spring is here! And while I’m ready for the sunshine, my skin isn’t! Yep, it spent the winter getting dried out in the indoor heat and bitter cold outside.  Even with amazing skin care products, my skin is ready for a refresher in the spring.  It’s the perfect time to rejuvenate and pamper your skin.  I spend a lot of time without makeup in the summer so I feel much more confident if my skin is looking fresh! Here are a few springtime skin care tips to get your skin ready for summer!

      1.  Drink Water!  I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again.  Water helps smooth fine lines and keep skin hydrated!  I’m terrible about drinking water in the winter.  It’s cold!  I just want to curl up with a warm drink.  And I tend to keep up that bad habit in the spring if I’m not on top of it!  I’ve found the only way I’m even close to getting enough water is if I carry around a water bottle with me all day.  Waiting until I’m home or eating a meal is not enough!  A general rule of thumb is to drink half your weight in ounces of water each day.  Of course, every person is different–you may find you need more or less water.


      1.     I am drinking lots of water and using eye cream. I am not too keen on organic though.

    I make a habit of drinking tons of water, especially in the evenings when we’re watching tv. Organic skin care products make great sense, I need to replace my lotion with an organic.

    These are great beauty tips, thank you so much for sharing! I never realized just how much water does for us, it is so important to drink at least 8 cups a day! I feel terrible when I don’t, I am sure I look it too! 🙂
