Happy Breastfeeding Awareness Month!

Two kids under two = lots of stuff. Every time we prepare to leave the house I feel like I’m packing for a week long vacation. You have to pack the diapers, the wipes, spare outfits, bottles, binkies, toys…the list goes on and on. I’m always looking out for products that can make my life easier and can perform double duty to lighten the load of my luggage, I mean diaper bag.

I received a few nursing covers as gifts during my first pregnancy, all of which looked like a big apron, made my baby hot and inevitably ended up a wadded, wrinkled mess at the very bottom of the diaper bag adding to the heap of stuff I was carrying around. The NuRoo Nursing Scarf is the perfect stylish alternative for moms looking for a nursing cover.NuRoo-Scarf-Options

The NuRoo Nursing Scarf is more than a traditional scarf. It has snaps on either end to allow you to customize your coverage. You can wear it wrapped or draped, front and back, over the shoulder or around your neck. My favorite ways to wear it was as an infinity scarf or as a vest. The fabric is super-soft, moisture wicking and breathable which has been a life-saver during this summer heat. The NuRoo Scarf is also made of wrinkle free fabric so it will still look great even if it does end up wadded in the diaper bag…that is if you ever take it off! I’ve even used my NuRoo Nursing Scarf as a baby blanket and a cart cover in a pinch. The NuRoo Nursing scarf is the perfect option for endless coverage + style for any mom.

I need one of these! I’m almost due (in about two months) and this would be wonderful on outings.

Wow, talk about versatility! But really, I had a nursing scarf with my last baby, and it’s so much lighter and breathable compared to a heavy cotton nursing cover.

This looks interesting. Companies are really coming out with some excellent products to conceal yourself while you nurse out in public. They didn’t have these kinds of things when I had my babies. Plus, I wish more women would wear these things. I can’t stand it when I see some woman nursing in public with her boob totally exposed for all the world to see. Yes, it’s great that she is nursing her baby, but to flaunt it and let the world see your immodesty is just wrong.
