Thankful Heart ThursdayA couple weeks ago, I was given an amazing gift by an equally amazing woman.  She had framed a piece of fabric and turned it into a message board for my family to write little love notes back and forth on.  This board was right up my alley as I have always loved writing little notes to Mark and Lexi over the years.  Before I could even write my first note on the board, though, it was claimed by my mini-me 🙂

Lexi has taken it upon herself to write me a sweet note or draw me a picture almost every day since we’ve had it and it has really made those days extra special.  Sometimes she’ll write them when I’m not looking, but I have caught her in mid-note a couple of times, too, and I cannot tell you how excited she gets.  She loves writing them as much as I like reading them, I think!

So, for today, I am thankful for sweet little love notes.  No matter who they’re from, they always warm my heart and put a smile on my face.  Such a simple act really can brighten someone’s day, so I encourage you to surprise someone with a love note today, too.  If you’re anything like my sweet Lexi, it will feel just as good to give as it does to receive!!

What is it that you’re thankful for today??  If you share with me, I’ll share with you.  All you have to do is join the conversation!!  Share your thankful heart with me by commenting below and you’ll be entered into our monthly giveaway.  Super SIMPLE!!  It pays to be thankful!!

I really love that idea! It makes me think of a quilt I received for my sons birth with encouraging messages from the women who raised me over the years. I’m so thankful for such a great support system.
